Jeffrey Ball

Jeff has always had an appreciation for skillful craftsmanship, in combination with design, the creation of unique and beautiful spaces. Outside of his work as a photographer and camera operator in the film production industry. He began a woodworking practice in 2007, has done work with metal and stone. Projects ranging from treehouses and van buildouts to tabletop sculptures.
This work transitioned into renovation and home building with the purchase Kali and Jeff made of their home in Boulder, CO., in 2020. The realization that a home should be a piece of art, a sculpture designed to live in. It has been the culmination of years of practice and inspiration.
Now studying architecture in many forms including traditional American, adobe & earthen building, sukiya-zukuri & Japanese architecture. Jeffs design and building work combines the traits of homes built for functionality with those built for aesthetics.
Our Logo - Six Point Seraphim
During his two years of service in the Peace Corps in Ukraine, 2011 -2013, Jeff became inspired by an image of a six pointed angel he saw gracing remarkable frescoes across Eastern Europe. The Seraphim angel is a byzantine symbol adapted from a slavic symbol, a symbol of protection. After many close calls in Ukraine the Seraphim became a symbol of what seemed to be a guardian angel as well as a motif for motivation, resiliency, honesty and strength. Jeff has carried the symbol with him ever since.
